Roasts
Introduction
A Sunday roast is the perfect occasion to showcase an extra special red or white wine. Although you'll find some specific food matches under our Beef, Lamb, Pork and Poultry sections – here's a quick reminder:
Top Tips for Roasts
- Roast Beef and Lamb - traditional roast beef and lamb are perfect meat dishes for a broad range of reds – from rich and robust Shiraz to soft and fruity Merlot.
- Chicken and Pork - a good red or white will work equally well with Chicken and Pork. If you like to sit down regularly to a delicious roast dinner, then be adventurous and try out some different wine styles. Our current favorite? New World Viognier
- Duck - go with a really fruity and full-bodied red if you're serving Duck. Barolo and Pinot Noir are great options.
